3 Epic Neuroscience Things, Pt. 2

At the time of writing, I’ve been studying postgraduate neuroscience at King’s College London for 7 months.

So far, we’ve touched on the following epic concepts in neuroscience:

  • Cerebral organoids/iPSCs
  • Alien hand syndrome/Confabulation
  • Activation of place cells to “teleport” consciousness

Since the first article, my work has shifted to techniques in neuroscience, which has introduced me to a whole new realm of fascinating methodology in research. I’ve found myself writing about fMRI, immunohistochemistry, induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), and electrophysiology amongst other things.
